ages 1-10. With over
40 birthday party themes
to choose from, you can rest assured that you will find a theme that your child will love. You can relax while we
make sure that the children are having fun with games, music, dress up, treasure
hunts, dancing, and creative play activities. During your birthday party, you will have exclusive
use of beautifully decorated studio.

Surf's up at our fun Luau Party, dude!

If you choose a luau birthday party from our
list of themes,
you are welcomed into our studio which has been transformed
into a tropical paradise, complete with palm trees, a bubble machine, and a
beach scene. Have fun dressing up in some of our fun
costumes with hula skirts,
sunglasses, leis, and more. We will do some fun hula dances and games together,
as well as favorite activities such as the limbo, hula hoops, and a conga line.
After activities, we will move to the eating area, where you will find your table set
with fun theme-related tableware. After the birthday song and cake, you may choose
to open your presents, or to do more games and activities. When it's time to leave,
everyone will bring home a helium filled balloon. You can choose to have us
provide cake and party favors, or you may provide your own.
When you choose a pirate birthday party from our
list of themes,
prepare to be impressed by our 15 foot ship mast as
they enter the studio decorated with pirate flags, nets, palm trees, anchors, and a
captain's wheel.

Whether you'll be swabbin' the deck, or taking the helm as captain,
you'll find pirate clothes to your liking: striped shirts and sashes, captain's jackets and
ruffled shirts, eye patches, earrings, and more. After all hands are on deck, we'll get
to searching for the lost treasure of Old Captain Blackhook. Following a series of
clues, we will solve riddles that lead us to a treasure chest filled with gold and jewels.
Everyone will be allowed to take home one piece of treasure as their reward.
After finding the treasure we will practice our pirating skills, such as stink-bomb
tosses, walking the plank over a river of alligators, and swimming to deserted
islands. After activities, we will move to the eating area, where you will find your table
set with fun theme-related tableware. After the birthday song and cake, you may
choose to open your presents, or to do more games and activities. When
it's time to leave, everyone will bring home a helium filled balloon. You can
choose to have us provide cake and party favors, or you may provide your own.
Also on our

is a construction birthday party.
Watch your step, and borrow one of our hard hats, tool belts, and tool kits as we head
onto the work site, decorated with construction signs, cones, fencing, and lighting.

wood, we'll get straight to work
building roads; after which we will test our job safety skills on a construction site
obstacle course. We may also sing some fun truck songs, and play games while
pretending to be different types of construction vehicles. After activities, we will move to
the eating area, where you will find your table set with fun theme-related tableware.
After the birthday song and cake, you may choose to open your presents, or to do more
games and activities. When it's time to leave, everyone will bring home a helium filled
balloon. You can choose to have us provide cake and party favors, or you may provide

Another choice on our

is a fairy birthday party.
Enter a forest enchanted by fairies, full of colorful butterflies, twinkling lights, giant
flowers, and magical mushrooms. Once you discover the secret password to
enter the forest, you will be rewarded with fairy skirts, wings and wands.

Next, we
will partake in a fairy-naming ceremony, complete with magic dust (of course!).
After that we will learn how to be fairies by flying, making ourselves invisible,
transforming into other creatures, and dancing in fairy rings. Everyone will also
have a turn to perform a short fairy dance if they choose to. After activities, we will
move to the eating area, where you will find your table set with fun theme-related
tableware. After the birthday song and cake, you may choose to open your presents,

Pricing and Payment:

BASIC BIRTHDAY PARTY PRICE: $230 for up to 12 children and $14 for each additional child.
Includes the following:
- Set up/post-party clean up
- Enthusiastic staff member conducting birthday party activities with children
- Studio uniquely decorated to reflect the environment of the theme of your choice
- Latex helium balloon for each child
- Coordinating table cover, plates, cups, napkins, utensils
You may also customize your birthday party to meet your needs by adding one or all of the following
for an extra fee:
- Bouncy House
- Custom theme birthday party favors
- Custom decorated theme birthday cake, juice boxes and water
- Cheese pizza
- Art project
Once your birthday party has been booked, you will be sent an invoice requesting a deposit for $105.
Your birthday party date will be held for one week after the post date on the invoice envelope.
After that point, we will only hold your birthday party date with receipt of your deposit. The balance
is due in full on the date of the birthday party. We accept cash, checks, Visa, and
MasterCard. Deposits are non-refundable, unless a birthday party is cancelled one month
prior to event date. There is a $20 charge for bounced checks. Prices subject to change. Birthday parties already invoiced will not be affected by
price changes. We reserve the right to alter theme activities.

Frequently Asked Questions:
How long are your birthday parties, and how is the time spent?
Our birthday parties last 1.5 fun-filled hours.
1 hour for arrival and theme birthday party; 30 minutes for cake, opening presents
(optional), and/or additional games. When are your birthday parties held, and how early can we arrive?
Typical birthday party hours are 5-6:30 on Fridays, 10-11:30 or 2:30-4 on Saturdays and 1-2:30 or 4:30-6 on
Sundays .
Weekday times may be available upon request..
You may arrive 15 minutes prior to your birthday party. Do you have a refrigerator, freezer, and sink?
Yes What ages are your birthday parties intended for?
1-10 years. Content is
altered so that activities are age appropriate, however, some
birthday parties are not suitable for very young children. Please inquire. Who runs the birthday party, and how are behavioral problems handled?
Creative Hearts staff conducts all parties.
Although such occurrences are rare, parents are responsible
for any out of the ordinary behavior problems, and for adherence to the rules. How far in advance should I reserve a date for my birthday party?
Reservations are
recommended two months in advance, however, some dates will be
available with less notice, and some unavailable with more notice. How many children can/should I invite, and when do you need to know how
many children will be attending?
We have conducted birthday parties for up to 30
children, however, we recommend birthday parties with 15 participants or less.
A final head count is needed four days prior to the birthday party.
If you are ordering birthday party favors, a birthday cake, pizza, etc., we need an estimated final count
at least two weeks prior to the party. Are all of your themes always available?
Themes are subject to change.
Please inquire as to whether or not your theme of choice is available when booking your birthday party.
What should I bring to the birthday party?
If you choose Creative Hearts party favors,
cake, etc., nothing. Otherwise, you should bring party favors,
cake, candles, and beverages. We have a lighter and cake server. What types of things do you do at a birthday party?
A typical birthday party includes use of
wonderful costumes/accessories/props, and includes some or all of the following:
music, unique theme-related games (usually non-competitive), dance/movement
games, treasure hunts, acting out stories, etc. Some birthday parties may include special
lighting/atmosphere etc. (bubble machine, etc.) We are happy to answer
any questions you may have about the content of specific themes! We understand
and thoroughly enjoy children, so your birthday party will be a wonderful experience! What is the history of Creative Hearts?
The Creative Hearts Center, LLC is committed
to providing unique, high-quality, interactive programs conducted by instructors with
professional experience in the arts and education. We have been servicing Connecticut since
1997 with excellent reviews. Due to demand, we opened a facility in West Hartford
in August 2001. In September 2004, we relocated to Avon, CT. In addition to Birthday
Parties, we conduct regular classes and playgroups for children ages 1-10. We offer
drama, music, art, creative writing, and playtime. We also conduct programs for schools,
scout troops, libraries, child care centers, staff workshops, seminars, festivals, playgroups,
and special occasions.
